Dick Higgins performed "Cabarets, Contributions, and Einschutz" for Claes Oldenburg's The Ray Gun Spex (The Ray Gun Specs) at Judson Gallery in New York City, February 29th, 1960. Other performers included Jim Dine (happening: The Smiling Workman), Red Grooms (happening: The Big Leap), Al Hansen ("Projections" (Most likely Requiem for W.C. Fields)), Allan Kaprow (happening: Coca Cola, Shirley Cannonball), and Robert Whitman (happening: Small Smell). Oldenburg performed a happening, Snapshots from the City, and also provided hand drawn tickets for the $1 admission/contribution (uncut page above).
